- Seek accountability because if you have a brain you have a bias.
- Are humble learners respecting that others have the right to their own story
- Know that consensus is overrated but buy-in is important
- Assume the best until evidence of otherwise is presented
- Seek to bring out and cultivate the best in those that they lead
- Have a strong sense of their own cultural identity and resulting convictions and values
- Can articulate a vision that can gather diverse support
- Understand the role of how all “-isms” impact how we perceive others and ourselves
- Live by a code of personal ethics regarding human dignity that is conspicuous in their professional and personal life
